Hot gear: The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is now in PH starting at P28,990

DJI has just launched the Osmo Pocket 4, the latest generation of the brand’s compact gimbal camera. It launches concurrently with the Lito Series, DJI’s new entry-level drone.

Gathering people from the local tech industry, DJI launched the Osmo Pocket 4 through an event in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The launch provided a comprehensive product presentation, including a comparison between the Osmo Pocket 4 and its predecessor, the Osmo Pocket 3.

The Osmo Pocket 4 can shoot in 4K resolution at 240fps. It features a one-inch CMOS sensor, improved low-light performance with an f/2.0 aperture, 14 stops of dynamic range, and a 10-bit D-Log for richer cinematic color.

It also has three-axis stabilization for smooth handheld shooting, advanced tracking capabilities such as ActiveTrack 7.0 and Subject Lock Tracking, built-in intelligent autofocus, and multiple tracking modes to deliver professional-looking content while keeping subjects sharp and centered even in motion.

Additional features of the Osmo Pocket 4 include the rotatable screen for instant recording, a dedicated zoom button, custom presets, and a new 5D joystick for improved precision and control. The device includes 107GB of built-in storage, an attachable fill light for low-light shooting, slow-shutter video, and gesture control. It also has fast charging and longer battery life compared to the previous model.

The event also featured the global debut of the DJI Lito Series, a line of lightweight, portable drones capable of shooting in 4K resolution, with features such as obstacle-sensing and obstacle-avoidance systems.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is available for preorders at DJI Philippines and authorized retail partners. It starts at P28,990 for the Standard Combo and P37,490 for the Creator Combo, which includes a DJI Mic 3 transmitter, a fill light, additional mounts, and other accessories.
