IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled its latest timepiece for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team. The chronograph watch pays tribute to the Singapore Grand Prix and features a vibrant purple color, inspired by the country’s national flower, the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim.
The watch is part of IWC’s Pilot’s collection and is the first of its kind to feature a deep purple shade. The 41mm-diameter case was made with Grade 5 titanium and has a brushed metal finish. IWC says it chose the material for its robust, lightweight characteristics and corrosion resistance, adding that the metal is also used in many engine components.
Its dial features a purple face with Mercedes’ signature teal color on the indices, hands, and date window. This pilot watch has a mechanical chronograph movement—specifically, the IWC 69385 caliber—which you can appreciate through the synthetic sapphire caseback. As a chronograph, it has a stopwatch feature, handy for measuring lap times when watching races trackside. There’s also a 46-hour power reserve.

The vibrant design is complemented by a purple strap and features IWC’s EasX-Change mechanism, which lets you quickly swap out the strap with the push of a button. Similar to the case, the buckle is finished in brushed metal and has the IWC logo engraved. As for water resistance, the pilot watch is rated for up to 10 bar or 100 meters of static depth.
This is the Swiss watchmaker’s fourth official team watch for Mercedes, following releases in 2022, 2023, and 2025. The new pilot’s watch will be worn by the team’s drivers, mechanics, engineers, and other staff at Mercedes’ headquarters. IWC’s website doesn’t display the price, but other sources have listed it at around P596,000.
