In these uncertain times, we could all use a friendly word and a light distraction to help us get through each day. Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen recognizes this, and in an effort to help spread hope and encourage people to make the most of their time, the brand has launched its new  ‘Time Well Shared’ initiative.

“In these extraordinary times, we would like to reach out to people with a message of solidarity, hope, and positivity. Through our spontaneous initiative, we want to offer a new way of staying in touch with the IWC family. We aim to encourage and inspire everybody to make good use of the time, to be here for one another, and to develop and grow stronger,” says IWC Schaffhausen CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr.

Through this initiative, IWC ambassadors will share online lecture and stories in the name of educating and entertaining people. One of those ambassadors is former racer David Coulthard. In his segment, the Scottish driver discusses his native country’s culture and cuisine, as well as how he first got into racing as a child. You can watch the full video below.
