The Luminox Carbon SEAL 3800 can survive any off-road adventure

One tough timepiece

When you’re out battling against Mother Nature in your badass 4x4, you need a watch that’s just as tough. Luminox’s new line of timepieces, made from the gearhead-pleasing element carbon, aims to deliver just that.

The Carbon SEAL 3800 series’ exterior is made from a compound that’s 40% carbon. This makes the watch very durable, scratch-resistant, and apparently three times lighter than titanium. Its design is very practical for withstanding the elements. It’s also water resistant to 300m, with a sapphire crystal and steel caseback to ensure its water tightness. The case comes with a rubber strap, so it won’t break or crack while you’re outdoors.

At a massive 46mm diameter, you’ll be able to check the time from any distance. True to the brand name, the new Luminox is illuminated by small tritium gas tubes, which provide the watch’s lume from a built-in source rather than from exterior light. Other features include a date display and a one-way rotating bezel. It’s powered by a quartz movement and comes with black, dark grey, and camouflage green dials.

The next time you decide to go out on an off-road adventure, consider bringing a watch like the Luminox Carbon SEAL 3800. It can rough it just as well as your 4x4.
