If you need another place to spend your hard-earned money, look no further than the Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels collection. It is an impressively comprehensive lineup of Japanese, European, and American classics, shrunk to 1:16 models with hundreds of bricks to put together.
The latest addition is an 833-piece model of a Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R from 1971. If those words aren’t enough to make your mouth water, then keep checking out the photos below.
There appear to be interchangeable wheels, license plates, and an operable hood with a brick-made engine sitting inside. Mattel has even added a steering shaft to let you play around with the tiny wheel inside the hakosuka.

In case 833 bricks are not enough, Mattel sells additional parts to personalize and spruce up your model. Best of all, some of those pieces are made of metal, adding some shine and heft to the plastic build. Those range from wheels and exhausts to even steering wheels.
We still haven’t found out where we can purchase these Skylines, nor have we seen the price. However, based on the other models available, this should cost around $60 (around P3,800).
