Every car needs a good parking spot—even diecast ones. Tomica is set to release its most advanced parking garage set yet, the ‘Automated Tomica Parking with Showroom’ next month for adult collectors in need of a centerpiece for their dioramas. The new parking building holds up to 24 cars across five floors, and has a 360-degree elevator (powered by a silent motor, no less) to provide a stylish entrance and exit for your Tomica vehicles.

The first two floors of the parking building serve as a showroom area (complete with figurines of visitors and staff to complete the scene), while the three upper floors provide an elevated showcase for parked cars. The circular layout of the parking means you get to admire different cars from every viewing angle.

The automated parking building comes with a remote to wirelessly direct the entry and exit of vehicles. Entry and exit ramps are also built into the structure and are designed to connect with other compatible road pieces.

An array of 27 multicolor LEDs also illuminates the building, either by showing the progress of the elevator as it goes up and down, or by putting on a light show with one of 10 pre-programmed patterns. Four AA batteries support all of the building’s bells and whistles, while the remote takes two AAA batteries.

The parking building is an impressive 424mm tall, 403mm wide, and 360mm deep. Out of the box, it also comes with a special-edition Nissan GT-R Nismo from the Tomica Premium line finished in red and black to add to your collection.

The Automated Tomica Parking with Showroom is scheduled for release in late September this year. As a premium product for collectors, it carries a decidedly premium price tag of ¥41,800 or around P16,000. What do you think? Is the price tag worth it for the most sophisticated Tomica parking garage ever? Let us know in the comments.
