The Quezon City Elevated Landscape Promenade is now open, linking the Quezon Memorial Circle and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center along Quezon Avenue.
The new bridge gives pedestrians and cyclists a safe and accessible path between the two parks, while adding more greenery around the Elliptical Road. Construction for the walkway started in April last year and officially concluded on November 11, 2025, as Quezon City mayor Joy Belmonte inaugurated the structure.

Overall, the promenade looks true to its initial renders, with bike ramps on each of the staircases and a wide array of plants scattered across the main path. The path itself looks wide enough to accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists with plenty of room to spare.

This comes as the city’s latest initiative in promoting alternative modes of mobility. For example, a stretch of Tomas Morato Avenue is closed off to cars every Sunday, and the free QCity Bus route operates seven days a week. Interestingly, eight of the buses in the city’s fleet are fully electric. Hopefully, we see more of these pedestrian- and eco-friendly mobility solutions in the near future.
We’re set to visit the promenade for ourselves sometime soon, but in the meantime, check out these photos from the Quezon City government.
