Kawasaki Motorcycles Philippines recently revamped its lineup with a number of new models. Highlighting the updated roster is the all-new Kawasaki KLE500, the brand’s newest middleweight adventure bike.
This particular segment has seen strong introductions in the past few years, most notable of which are the CFMoto 450MT and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The new KLE500 will go up against these two hard-hitting middleweights.

Two variants of the Kawasaki KLE500 are available at launch: the standard version and the SE. The KLE500 standard stickers for P341,000, while the KLE500 SE goes for P381,000.

Design and dimensions of the Kawasaki KLE500 2026

In terms of dimensions, the two variants are mostly the same. The KLE500 has a 1,555mm wheelbase, 185mm of ground clearance, and an 870mm-high seat (34.2 inches). It measures 2,300mm long and 940mm wide, while the bike’s overall height varies depending on the setup. The standard ranges from 1,355mm to 1,405mm, while the SE ranges from 1,460mm to 1,510mm. The standard KLE500 also weighs 193kg, while the SE is a kilogram heavier. It has a 16-liter fuel tank.
In terms of design, it looks the part of an ADV. There’s a windshield up front, below that are the aggressive-looking headlamps, which Kawasaki says were rally raid-inspired. The fairings show a portion of the high-tensile steel trellis frame underneath. 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels come as standard, but the large skid plate underneath is only available in the SE. The KLE500 also comes with a gray finish as standard, while the SE gets a lighter and cooler shade of gray with additional green accents.

The Kawasaki KL500 is powered by a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin that puts out 50.3hp at 10,000rpm and 42.6Nm at 7,500rpm. This is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with an assist/slipper clutch.
The Kawasaki KLE500 gets a 300mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake, both with dual-piston calipers. The suspension comprises a 43mm inverted front fork with 210mm of travel and a New Unit Trak with 196mm of travel at the rear.

Standard features in the Kawasaki KLE500 include an LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, switchable dual-channel ABS. In the KLE500 SE, there’s a full color TFT display, a taller windshield, LED turn signals, and handguards.
