You may be familiar with Bajaj—the motorcycle company from India, whose presence in the Philippines was in partnership with Kawasaki. It also gained popularity in our local market for the Bajaj RE, a three-wheeler commonly used for public transport or as a workhorse for SMEs.

Bajaj has now entered the Philippine market as its own brand. Distributed by Trimotors, this means that Bajaj will now introduce its own dealerships, service centers, and, of course, its own motorcycles in the country. Namely: the Pulsar N125, Pulsar N160, Pulsar RS200, Pulsar NS400Z, and Dominar 400.

Atop the list, the Dominar 400—which previously entered the Philippines with a Kawasaki badge—is an expressway-legal naked bike with a 373cc single-cylinder engine making 40hp and 35Nm of torque. It has a six-speed gearbox, 157mm of ground clearance, and weighs 193kg. The Bajaj Dominar 400 sells for P208,888.

The second tollway-approved bike on this list is the Pulsar NS400Z. It carries the same 373cc single-cylinder as the Dominar 400, albeit making slightly less horsepower at 39.5hp. It does, however, have a higher ground clearance of 165mm and is lighter at 174kg. The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z stickers for P199,888.

Next up, we have the Pulsar RS200, a sportbike powered by a 199cc single-cylinder engine making 24hp and 18.74Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. It has a seat height of 810mm and weighs 159.9kg. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the only sportbike on this list and is priced at P133,888.

We also have the Pulsar N160, a naked bike with a 164cc single-cylinder paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine makes 16hp and 14.65Nm of torque. It has a seat height of 795mm with a wet weight of 152kg. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is priced at P115,888

Last but not least is the smallest bike on this list, the Pulsar N125. This naked bike has a 124cc single-cyclinder engine making 12hp and 11Nm of torque. It’s mated to a five-speed gearbox and has a seat height of 795mm, a wet weight of 125kg, and a 198mm ground clearance. The Bajaj Pulsar N125 comes in at P79,888.

All five bikes come with LCD displays and LED headlights as standard. Trimotors says it is committed to operating under its 3S model (sales, service, and spare parts) to eliminate two of the biggest concerns for riders: availability and reliability. With Bajaj officially in the market, would you consider getting one as your next bike?
