‘Kuya Kim’ Atienza continues his streak of flexing vintage motorcycles. This time, it’s his Vespa VL 150 that he has taken out for a spin.
In his latest motovlog, the TV host shared that the old-school scooter is one of the rarest models from the Italian brand here in the Philippines. The VL 150, which was popularized by the 1953 movie Roman Holiday starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck, came from actor and fellow EuroMonkeys member Dingdong Dantes.
Compared to the new Vespas now, na ang mga handlebar ay meron nang cowl or cover.

Back in December 2020, Atienza featured his 1954 Lambretta F 125, the only scooter of its kind in Asia, in his vlog. Earlier this month, he took his 69-year-old 1952 Zundapp Norma for a night ride.
“There is something about old bikes that attracts me. When you ride vintage, you ride with mechanical sympathy. You don’t just shift gears when you want to, you ask permission from the machine first,” Atienza once wrote about his love for classic models.
