Design and dimensions

The PG-1 measures 1,980mm long805mm wide, and 1,050mm tall. It has a 1,280mm wheelbase and has a seat height of 795mm or 31.29 inches. Minimum ground clearance is listed at 190mm, and curb weight is at 107kg. It has a 5.1-liter fuel tank.

This little bike sits on 16-inch front and rear wheels, both of which are shod in 90/100-16 M/C 51P tube-type knobby tires.

Engine and specs

Powering the PG-1 is a 114cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out 8.88hp at 7,000rpm and 9.5Nm at 5,500rpm. This is mated to a four-speed semi-automatic transmission.

Stopping power is handled by a single disc brake up front and drum brakes at the rear. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic front fork and a swingarm out back.

Extra features

This is a pretty bare-bones bike, so it doesn’t get a lot of creature comforts. There’s no ABS or electronic safety bits here, so don’t expect to get those. It also gets an analog instrument cluster with a speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a gear indicator.

The PG-1 also gets a pillion seat and a grab bar out back as standard, as well as a tiny underseat compartment that can hold, at the very least, your motorcycle’s registration documents. It also has an upward-pointing exhaust pipe, making it slightly more capable of going off-road, or even crossing shallow waters.
