Now that BMW Motorrad Philippines is done refreshing its GS lineup, it’s now shifting its focus towards its classic models. Specifically, it’s famed roadster, the R nineT.
The German motorcycle manufacturer has now launched the official R nineT successors in our market: the R12 and the R12 nineT. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at these two new models.

BMW R12 2024 prices and specs

Two variants are available for the BMW R12—a standard and an Option 719 trim. Check out the prices below.
BMW R12 2024 price Philippines
- BMW R12 Aventurine Red – P1,215,000
- BMW R12 Option 719 Avus Silver (Digital Display) – P1,315,000
Powering the R12 is a 1,170cc air- and oil-cooled two-cylinder boxer engine that puts out 95hp and 110Nm of torque. The bike comes standard with an analog gauge which is replaced by a small 3.5-inch digital display with the Option 719 package. It comes standard with a quickshifter with auto blip.
The R12 is the cruiser-like model, hence, the slightly forward foot pegs and the wide handle bar. Seat height for this one is also much lower at just 754mm. It gets two ride modes similar to that of the R18: Rock and Roll.

Four R12 nineT variants are available, and the range starts higher than the R12 at P1.375 million. You can check out the full price list below.

Mechanically, the R12 nineT is identical to its twin, packing the same engine. The R12 nineT, however, puts out more power at 109hp and 115Nm of torque. The riding position is also a bit more aggressive and roadster-like in this one, and it has a higher seat listed at 795mm.
All models and variants come with a 500,000km/five-year warranty, whichever comes first.
