Ducati has just unveiled two new motorcycles sporting its light and powerful V2 engine. The Ducati Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 took the stage at EICMA 2024, in all its bright red glory.
The bikes feature designs that are built with one guiding principle: to go fast. Hence, there are not a lot of bells and whistles on these new V2s, just light chassis and powerful engines.

The Ducati Panigale V2 sets the standard for the Italian brand’s new light and fast direction. After shedding 17kg from the previous model, the new Panigale comes in at just 176kg in wet weight. Now the lightest Panigale ever made, the bike still packs a heavy punch, creating 120hp and 93Nm of torque courtesy of the new 890cc V2.
Filling out the rest of its weight is a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and a Kayaba shock. Attached to the fork and the shock are two die-cast aluminum wheels. Wrapping the wheels are Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires with a 120/70 size in front and a 190/55 at the back.

Using the same chassis as the Panigale, the new Ducati Streetfighter V2 takes the title of the lightest Streetfighter ever produced. This Streetfighter mimics the Panigale in power as it also uses the same 890cc V2 engine, although it edges out more torque at 101Nm.
Notably, the new Streetfighter’s front profile has been redesigned with more aggressive headlights. Down below, the same fork and shock are found, although a Sachs steering damper is available as an additional accessory.

Both these bikes will come in ‘Sport’ variants that will feature a new suspension build from Öhlins, along with other customization options.
Pricing and global availability have yet to be announced.
