Honda Philippines opened its new big bike showroom inside its world-class flagship shop in Lahug District, Cebu City last week, signaling a major sales offensive in the Visayas region.
“The power and innovative features of Honda Big Bikes have been seen in action by motorcycle enthusiasts in many countries. Now it’s time for Filipinos to experience all of these through our latest big bike offerings,” said Daiki Mihara, Honda Philippines president.
“Last December 2017, we already launched our latest collection in Manila, however, since we consider Cebu as one of the important markets, we also see the value of showcasing our latest Honda Big Bikes collection to the Cebuano public, here in our flagship store.”
Honda introduced eight exciting big bike models for the Philippine market in December last year. And when it opened its showroom in Cebu, some customers even brought cash to purchase their dream Honda bikes right away.
The new Honda big bikes were categorized into four types:
1) Roadster - Rebel 500 cruiser, CB650F sport naked, and CB11000EX classic naked
2) Sport - CBR500R sport bike and its big brother the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP super sport bike
3) New adventure – X-ADV adventure scooter
4) Traveler – CB500X middleweight adventure bike and the CRF1000L Africa Twin adventure bike
However, the CB1100EX and CBR1000RR units have yet to arrive at the Honda flagship shops in Makati and Cebu.
A flagship shop has a big bike zone, which is for motorcycles with big engines, and the commuter zone for underbones, scooters and business categories.
Aside from the showroom and the service area, the three-storey Cebu flagship shop has amenities for rider clubs and a test ride area.
On Saturday, February 3, 2018, Mihara will lead the opening of Honda PH's third flagship shop in Davao City, one of the booming cities in the country.
