Last year, we featured 10 motorcycles that are well-suited for delivery services. At the top of our list was the Honda TMX125 Alpha, a versatile, reliable, easy-to-maintain, and fuel-efficient workhorse. Ask any TMX125 owner and they will be glad to tell you how much this solid-steel bike can take a beating.

If you’re considering buying a new unit to use as a delivery-service vehicle, the 2021 Honda TMX125 Alpha is now available. The legendary commuter retains its durable 125cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that consumes an average of 62.5km/L when riding at a constant speed of 45kph.

The new TMX125 Alpha is equipped with both a kick-starter and electric push-button start, and runs on a pair of 18-inch tires fitted on chrome spoke wheels. The rider and the passenger share a flat seat. There’s also a specially built collar for mounting a sidecar in case you want to convert the bike to a tricycle, along with a provision for the second set of shock absorbers at the rear for heavy loads.

Honda’s engineers have fitted the new TMX125 Alpha with a 38T rear sprocket instead of the usual 44T to attain a good balance between top speed and pulling power. Aside from the Candy Ruby Red and Black color schemes already available with the previous iteration, Honda Philippines has introduced the Matte Armored Silver Metallic option as well.

And here’s the best part: The SRP for the new Honda TMX125 Alpha remains at P51,400.
