Suzuki has been quite consistently updating its local motorcycle lineup over the past few years. Its latest models, however, might be some of the most exciting ones we’ve seen in a while.

At the 2025 Makina Moto Expo, Suzuki unveiled its two newest models set to hit the market sometime this year: the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM. These next-generation DR series twins are derived from the DR-Z400S and were just launched at EICMA in November last year.

The DR-Z4S is the more off-road-oriented bike, while the DR-Z4SM focuses more on street performance. While Suzuki has yet to unveil local specs, we know from the global reveal that the bikes feature a 398cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke DOHC engine.

These bikes also come equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System which includes the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, Suzuki Traction Control System, and an added Gravel mode for off-road riding. It comes with front and rear disc brakes with switchable ABS as well.

“Built from 25 years of legacy, these motorcycles redefined the foundation of modern dual-sport riding,” said Suzuki Philippines president Kochiro Hirao. “With new looks and electronic systems developed to show the future direction of dual-sport and supermoto motorcycle design—these bikes continue to run the game.”

Exciting stuff ahead from Suzuki. Stay tuned for the imminent launch of this exciting new model.
