Suzuki Philippines has just announced the milestone of three million motorcycles produced. This achievement is celebrated with the 125cc Suzuki Access as the 3,000,000th unit.
Since becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in 1985, Suzuki Philippines has produced some fan favorites among Filipino riders. One example is the Raider, an underbone motorcycle that, through the years, has delighted riders with its rev-happy engine and lightweight handling, producing a cult following across the country.

Another notable mention is the ‘legendary’ Smash, a no-frills semi-automatic motorcycle famed for its affordability, frugality, and an incredibly durable engine. And more recently, the Burgman Street, which has given motorists a stylish and convenient way to get around the metro.

From backbone motorcycles that aid in business and livelihood, to underbones and scooters for daily commutes, and big bikes for expressway access and weekend adventures, Suzuki has made some rather exciting and dependable motorcycles over the last 40 years.

But it doesn’t stop there. During the 2026 Makina Moto Expo, Suzuki launched its V-Strom 160 and DR160, two off-road capable motorcycles derived from their larger siblings. The two newly released motorcycles expand Suzuki Philippines’ lineup, creating more locally assembled motorcycles for Filipino riders.
Suzuki says that the three-million-unit achievement would not be possible without the dedication, craftsmanship, and discipline of everyone involved—the production line, engineering teams, plant personnel, and employees across operations. These are the people behind every single motorcycle produced. As the company moves forward, it remains committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and innovation that riders can trust.
