Suzuki has just unveiled the all-new V-Strom 160 and DR160—small engine-equipped versions of brand’s V-Strom and DR lines—at the Makina Moto Expo 2026. The V-Strom 160 stickers for P146,000 while the DR160 is priced at P129,000.
The V-Strom 160 has a single-cylinder 162cc engine making 14.7hp and 14Nm of torque, paired to a five-speed manual transmission. It rides on 17-inch rims wrapped in dual-sport tires, and has disc brakes for both the front and rear with dual-channel ABS. The bike also comes with a 13.2-liter fuel tank.
The entry-level adventure tourer has a ground clearance of 160mm and a seat height of 795mm (31.2 inches)—40mm lower than the seat height of the V-Strom 250. It also features modern LED headlights and taillights, dual-sport tires, and a high, front fender to complete the V-Strom look.

Categorized as a backbone, the Suzuki DR160 is a dual-sport motorcycle designed for commuting but also capable of light off-road adventures. It has a similar SOHC 162cc engine, with an output of 14.1hp and 14.5Nm of torque. The engine is also paired to a five-speed manual transmission.
The DR160 features single-channel ABS in front. It also has wire-spoked wheels—17-inch wheels in the back and 19-inch wheels up front wrapped in dual-sport tires. There is also has a high-mount exhaust. The bike has 244mm of ground clearance, and an 845mm (33.2 inches) seat height.
Both these bikes are solid contenders for riders looking for commuter bikes with light off-road capability under P150k. If you want to see these bikes in the metal, they’ll be in the Makina Moto Expo at the SMX Convention Center Manila until April 12, 2026.
