Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) is starting off its 2026 activities with a couple of big reveals: its ‘Live to Defy’ campaign and the new Lexi.
The Lexi is Yamaha’s newest offering with the engine of a larger scooter and the price tag of a smaller one. It arrives as a more affordable alternative to the likes of the NMax Tech Max and Aerox, but with better performance than the Mio Fazzio and Mio Gravis.

Pricing of the 2026 Yamaha Lexi

Only one variant of the Yamaha Lexi is available at launch, and it comes with an introductory price of P99,900. Two color options are available: black and matte green. Retail sales of the Lexi begin in March.
Design and dimensions of the 2026 Yamaha Lexi

The Yamaha Lexi shares design cues with its stablemates. The front end looks familiar, styled similarly to the NMax but with a cleaner, less sporty stance. Sharp lines sculpt the fairings. Out back, there’s a sizable taillight as well.
What sets it apart from its 150cc siblings is that it has a floorboard, so it has a less beefy-looking physique.
Engine and specs of the 2026 Yamaha Lexi

Powering the new Yamaha Lexi is a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve engine that’s mated to a CVT. This powertrain is also equipped with Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology for optimum performance and fuel efficiency.
Extra features of the 2026 Yamaha Lexi

The new Lexi comes with an LCD instrument cluster with Yamaha’s patented Y-Connect feature. There’s a hook by the floorboard, a small storage compartment up front for small items, and an underseat box that can fit a small open-face helmet. There’s also a built-in USB-A charging port.
