Triumph Motorcycles Philippines is off to a busy start for 2026. The motorcycle brand just hosted its first launch of the year, and it’s for the new Triumph Scrambler 400 XC.
As the name implies, this is a sibling of the Scrambler 400 X, the small-displacement, entry-level Triumph that made its way to the Philippines nearly two years back. Triumph’s twins made a lot of noise then, and it’s newest offering is looking to do the same now.

The original Scrambler 400 X was already a scrambler in every sense of the word, but the XC amps up the bike’s off-road capabilities. For starters, there’s a small windscreen by the headlamp, and below it is a high-position front fender that really gives off that proper trail-ready look.

It’s not just aesthetics, of course—Triumph has also added wire-spoked wheels with tubeless tires, an aluminum sump guard underneath, and crash bars on the sides for added protection.

Mechanically, it sees no changes from the standard X, which is fine. It still packs a 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out 39.5hp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. A ride-by-wire throttle comes as standard, as well as three color schemes in Racing Yellow, Vanilla White, and Storm Grey.
The new Triumph Scrambler 400 XC arrives in the Philippines with a P404,000 price tag. A bit higher than the standard X model, but that’s to be expected. Whether or not the price bump is worth the upgrades, however, remains to be seen—we’ll find out when we review this bike. For now, we’ll leave you with more photos below. The comments section is open, too, for those of you who’d like to share their thoughts on this new Triumph.
