Audi is taking a page off of its German rival, BMW, as the Ingolstadt-based company is set to launch a series of driving-oriented action-packed short films starring Justin Timberlake, Dania Ramirez and Audi's soon-to-be-launched hatchback, the A1.

This one-minute trailer of Audi's The Next Big Thing promises some intense car chase scenes with the Audi A1 along with gun fights, rock music and a hot kissing scene on the dance floor. The series debut is set for May 4. In the meantime, here's a little teaser.

BMW is the first carmaker that used a short film series to promote its vehicles. Noted directors like John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee, and Guy Ritchie helmed episodes of The Hire, a series which starred a then-unknown Clive Owen who is hired by the films' other characters to transport valuable items.
