On November 18, Sunday, The Firefly Brigade, a group of bicycle riders advocating sustainable forms of transportation, will hold the 14th Tour of the Fireflies, an annual critical mass ride designed to promote biking. As expected, throngs of bikers will participate in this activity, which means traffic as we know it will come to a screeching halt.

7:00am - 8:30am: Tiendesitas, Ortigas Avenue toward C5 and Marcos Highway
7:30am - 8:30am: Marcos Highway toward Marikina City
8:00am - 8:30am: Stopover at Patio del Zapatero
8:30am - 9:30am: Marcos Highway toward Katipunan Avenue (Quezon City)
9:00am - 10:30am: Katipunan Avenue, C.P. Garcia, Elliptical Road, East Avenue, Timog Avenue, Tomas Morato Avenue
10:00am - 12:00nn: E. Rodriquez Avenue, New Manila, Gilmore, Ortigas toward Tiendesitas through Emerald Avenue (Pasig City)
Avoid this route on Sunday if you don't want to get stuck in traffic--unless you're a participant in the ride.
