The all-new Ford Ranger could soon be making its way to the Philippine automotive market as Ford Motor is set to unveil the pickup truck in Southeast Asia at the Bangkok International Motor Show next week.
"The ASEAN region, with Thailand as our production hub, is a key opportunity within our Asia Pacific and Africa growth strategy, so leveraging the Bangkok Show for the ASEAN unveil of our global all-new Ford Ranger is a natural thing to do," said Ford ASEAN president Peter Fleet.
The all-new Ranger is the first truck developed under Ford Motor's One Ford strategy and Thailand is one of three global hubs that will manufacture and export the vehicle to more than 180 markets. Production of the all-new Ford Ranger is scheduled to start later this year.
If you're eager to try out the new pickup truck and you happen to be in Bangkok between March 25 and April 4, drop by the IMPACT at Muang Thong Thani, and look for Ford's booth where you can enjoy the Ranger's driving simulator.
Other exhibits and features from Ford during the Bangkok International Motor Show include a robot presenter, a 3D mini-theatre, a virtual Driving Skills for Life safe-driving video game and a personal interactive towing challenge.
