Philippine Allied Enterprises Corporation (PAEC), official distributor of Bridgestone products in the Philippines, has launched the Tokyo-based tire company's new offerings: The Potenza S001 and the Potenza Adrenalin RE002.
The Potenza S001 promises to maintain stability and achieve excellent performance on both wet and dry roads with its asymmetric design and outer tread pattern.
"By optimizing contact between car and road, the designers also achieved the most stable maneuverability possible, most noticeably when cornering at high speeds," Bridgestone said. "Another point that sets it apart is the quiet and comfortable ride."
The Potenza Adrenalin RE002, on the other hand, comes with "new pulse groove" that helps prevent hydroplaning--perfect for when the wet season sets in. Technologies used in the RE002 also claim to reduce noise as well as wear of the tires.
"The Potenza S001 and RE002 are our response to the growing demand of consumers who want to use high performance street tires for their car," Marc Tagle, PAEC executive vice president and general manager, said during the launch of the tires at the Clark International Speedway.
