The all-new Chery QEV has officially been launched at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The fully electric compact hatchback debuts with a sticker price of P1,120,000.
Dubbed the ‘smart EV cruiser,’ the QEV features a 42.7kWh battery mated to a single electric motor powering the rear wheels. It’s capable of charging from 30% to 80% in just over 16 minutes with a fast DC charger, and has 405km of driving range.

Design-wise, the QEV has a friendly appearance with soft edges and body lines complemented by oval-shaped headlights and taillights. It features two-tone 16-inch wheels with what Chery calls a ‘star shield’ design. It also has a power tailgate and semi-hidden door handles.
