PIMS 2026: The all-new Chery QEV officially launches at P1.12-M

It’s one “Q-ute” hatchback

The all-new Chery QEV has officially been launched at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The fully electric compact hatchback debuts with a sticker price of P1,120,000.

Dubbed the ‘smart EV cruiser,’ the QEV features a 42.7kWh battery mated to a single electric motor powering the rear wheels. It’s capable of charging from 30% to 80% in just over 16 minutes with a fast DC charger, and has 405km of driving range.

Design-wise, the QEV has a friendly appearance with soft edges and body lines complemented by oval-shaped headlights and taillights. It features two-tone 16-inch wheels with what Chery calls a ‘star shield’ design. It also has a power tailgate and semi-hidden door handles.

The interior features 2,840 liters of cabin space with 375 liters of trunk space that expands to 1,450 liters with the rear seats folded. There’s also a 70-liter frunk with up to a 50kg capacity. The dashboard is covered in padded leather materials and features 256-color ambient lighting. There’s also ventilated front seats and LED vanity mirrors.

Other features include V2L ports, level 2 ADAS, and a 540-degree around-view monitor. If you want to check out the QEV in the metal, it will be at PIMS 2026 from June 4-7 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
