Since its release, the GAC GS3 Emzoom has given drivers a stiff, and sporty driving experience at an accessible price point. If it were up to us, we’d just keep the GS3 Emzoom in ‘Sport+’ mode and launch it, but that isn’t very responsible, or cost-efficient.
After all, it’s still a stylish crossover that seats five passengers while allotting for decent cargo space in the back. Its infotainment software and advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) were also feature-packed, and fully-loaded upon its release.
And now, GAC GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition gives the crossover a welcome update for 2025, along with a sleek new coat of black paint.

The GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition keeps the same powertrain, but adds a couple of new features compared to its other R-Style counterparts.
Still running the show is a 1.5-liter turbopetrol engine mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. That powertrain puts out a fun 174hp, and 270Nm of torque. As mentioned, we like the GS3 Emzoom the most on Sport+ mode, but the more pratical ‘Eco’ mode should get 11-12km/L in mixed driving conditions.
Aside from that clean black paint job, the GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition, also gets fitted with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin is then dressed in black leather, color-matching the car’s exterior.
The price on the GAC GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition is placed at P1,289,900, but GAC Motor Philippines is currently offering all Emzoom R-Style models with a P90,000 discount. That brings the final price of a brand-new R-Style Black Edition to P1,199,900.
