GAC International Philippines is gearing up to launch three new MPVs before the end of the month. The additional models will give the brand some serious flexibility, with full gasoline power and electrified options both available.
Each MPV then shares a similar but distinct footprint, as seven-seater cabins are built into shells with varying styles and impressions. Cargo space is abundant across the board, giving buyers even more freedom to select their preferred powertrain and design language.

Soon, the all-new GAC GN6 will reach local buyers, along with the hybrid E8 and the plug-in hybrid GN8 Executive. While prices have yet to be revealed, we’ve laid out some preliminary specifications below.

GAC GN6 2027

The GN6 will introduce itself to local buyers with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, advertised with an average fuel economy of 14km/L. It achieves that with a 52-liter fuel tank, which should bring its overall driving range to about 728km.
Inside, the seven-seater’s rear cargo area has a general capacity of 324 liters. However, the third-row seats can be folded and laid flat, which effectively expands the trunk to 1,100 liters. According to GAC, that should be enough space for 14 20-inch suitcases.
GAC E8 HEV 2027

As its name suggests, the E8 HEV is equipped with an electrified powertrain—specifically, a 2.0-liter ATK hybrid engine mated to a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. It should then deliver a driving range of over 1,000km.
Underneath the metal, the E8’s wheelbase measures a lengthy 2,930mm. That provides enough real estate for a flat-floor layout, with captain’s seats in the second row. Those seats provide cooling and massage functions, along with zero-gravity adjustment settings. Meanwhile, drivers are treated to level-two driving assists.
GAC GN8 PHEV Executive 2027

The plug-in hybrid GN8 Executive will stand as the brand’s flagship MPV, with an executive design and premium finishes. The cabin is dressed in genuine leather, while second-row passengers get cooling, heating, and massaging functions in their seats. The interior is also said to be “heavily insulated,” which should provide decent sound isolation.
In terms of performance, the GN8 is expected to provide a 1,038km driving range, with 120km on electric power alone. As mentioned, prices have yet to be revealed, but stay updated with Top Gear Philippines to get the latest updates.
