Hennessey Performance has gotten its hands on a Jaguar F-Type R, and thanks to the numerous upgrades the tuning company has done to the car, its performance output has been bumped up from 542hp and 680Nm to a hair-raising 623hp and 770Nm.
Hennessey's upgrades have also improved the stock car's 0-60mph (0-97kph) time from 4.0 seconds to 3.5 seconds. No mention was made if the F-Type R's electronically limited top speed of 300kph has increased as well, although Hennessey Performance claims that its quarter-mile run was achieved in 11.57 seconds at 198kph.
According to the tuning company, its upgrades to the F-Type R include updates to the car's software, supercharger and intercooler. To set it apart from the stock model, Hennessey also added serial-numbered plaques to the dashboard and the engine.
The upgrades, which Hennessey has collectively called HPE600, are supposedly also available "for all 2014-2015 5.0-liter V8 supercharged Jaguar and Range Rover models including the Sport and Autobiography."
