The Honda Odyssey is getting an upgrade. Honda Cars Philippines has announced that it will be equipping the classy Japanese minivan's 2.4 EX-V Navi CVT variant with a host of new aesthetic tweaks and convenience features for 2017.

Style-wise, the vehicle gets a new platinum grille up front, side and rear lower garnishes, and a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels. It's nothing too drastic, but the additional tweaks provide the vehicle with a slightly more dynamic presence on the road.

Helping passengers enter and exit the minivan under dim conditions are new outer door courtesy lights. The Odyssey also gets speed sensing auto door locks that lock the car's doors once it moves past 15kph, as well as auto power up and down capability on all windows for added convenience.

The Odyssey EX-V Navi CVT keeps its capable 2.4-liter DOHC engine, as well as standard safety, performance and convenience features such as its Econ Mode, Idle Stop, paddle shifters, Smart Parking Assist, rear entertainment system and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, among others.

The updated Honda Odyssey carries a new price tag of P2.393 million. It comes in Premium Twinkle Black Pearl (additional P20,000), White Orchid Pearl (additional P20,000), Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Carnelian Red Pearl and Super Platinum Metallic. If you're looking for a well-refined Japanese hauler to cruise in during the summer season, the Odyssey might be worth checking out.
