Off-roaders and Jeep enthusiasts, take note: The all-new Wrangler is headed to the Philippines.
Auto Nation Group, the official local distributor of Jeep, has announced that it will be revealing the all-new Jeep Wrangler next month. While there’s no concrete information available yet on what variants or engines we’ll be getting, this is still pretty exciting news.
So, until the official launch happens in March, all we can do is speculate—or rather, create a wishlist of things we’d love to see in the all-new PH-spec model. As much as hard- and open-top models look cool, we’d love to see the powered soft-top make its way here. We’d also be glad to get the onboard Wi-Fi.
Engine options abroad include an old-school V6 and a 2.0-liter turbo four-pot. Now, as cool and quintessential as the V6 would be, we think the smaller 2.0-liter would be a better fit for our country. It should be much more fuel-efficient, and with 268hp and 400Nm available, it’s not exactly short on oomph.
Are you excited for the all-new Wrangler’s arrival?
