The 10th Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show recently opened its doors in Las Vegas. As the show celebrates its first decade, the Jeep Wrangler is right up there with it—this trusted American SUV has won its 10th straight 4x4/SUV of the Year honors since SEMA was first held in 2010.
“Just as there are no limits when it comes to the capabilities of the Jeep Wrangler, the same could be said of the many options available to personalize the Jeep Wrangler,” said the head of Mopar, Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA)-North America Mark Bosanac. “We are proud and honored to win ‘4x4/SUV of the Year’ award for 10 years in a row, which is a testament not only to the staying power of the Jeep Wrangler, but also to the passion and creativity of the aftermarket community, which continues to select the Jeep Wrangler as a perfect canvas for customization.”
Mopar is the service, parts, and customer-care brand for FCA vehicles which was established over more than 80 years ago. In this year’s show, the brand set up 14 customized vehicles across a 15,000 sq. ft. display. This includes a ‘Moparized’ Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, as seen in the photo above.
“It’s no surprise that SEMA Show exhibitors voted the Jeep Wrangler the 4x4/SUV of the Year,” said SEMA president and CEO Chris Kersting. “With so many options available, the Jeep continues to be a favorite for personalization. Its versatility is limitless, appealing to daily drivers as well as off-roaders.”
Congratulations to Mopar and the entire FCA Group!
