After a few previews earlier this year, the Jetour G700 has officially made its debut. The launch of this SUV not only unveils a new line of products for Jetour, but also marks the brand’s official entry into the luxury vehicle market.
At its launch at Auto Shanghai 2025, the G700 was accompanied by the smaller G600 and the larger G900. Jetour may have chosen the midrange G700 as its new market flagbearer, as the SUV sits on the same platform as the carmaker’s all-new pickup, the F700.

The pickup will join the G-series in the luxury market, catering to those who want to go off-road in great style and comfort. Filipino drivers can likely expect Jetour’s luxury series to enter the local market sometime next year, as it’s just starting to roll out in China.

The Jetour G700 features the CDM-O plug-in hybrid platform that combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with dual motors. That powertrain will put out around 750hp and 795Nm of torque through a 4WD system. Its expected driving distance is in the range of 1,400-1,500km, with 150km on pure electric power.
The exterior of the G700 follows the boxy-SUV trend that seems to be all over Asian markets. It aims to go head-to-head with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Land Rover Defender, so it follows a similar design language—rectangular, rugged, and bold.

What’s pictured here is the ‘Cyberspace’ configuration, which features a more industrial and futuristic motif. The base or standard G700 will come in more traditional colors and trims.
The six-passenger cabin is dressed in leather with suede lining around the steering wheel and other wide surfaces. Passengers in the second row also get tray tables and footrests, while those in the third row get adjustable backrests and what looks to be some decent legroom.
Exact measurements, as well as the global availability of the Jetour G-series, have yet to be released. More as we get it.
