Remember that Koenigsegg Regera we spotted back in June? Well, it looks like the hypercar might have a sibling headed for the Philippines.
The Land Transportation Office recently published homologation papers for a Koenigsegg Regera, and because the document was dated August 12, 2026, we’re going to go out on a limb and speculate that this may be an entirely different unit. Of course, it could just be that same one we saw a few months back, but one can dream.
According to the agency, this Regera is equipped with a sweet 5.0-liter V8 and a curious plug-in hybrid system. The papers also reveal that the Regera is rated for a blazing top speed of 400kph; however, it can also drive up to 50km on electric power alone. Pretty practical, huh?

Specifications from Koenigsegg itself show the Regera with a maximum output of 1,500hp, while also being capable of generating over 2,000Nm of torque. The hypecar also gets three electric motors and a humble 4.5kWh battery for added performance—and of course, some guilt-free EV driving.
While we haven’t seen any Regera on Philippine roads since June, this may just be the white whale for car-spotters and automotive fans alike. Having spotted one on a flatbed was a spectacle already, but witnessing a fresh unit blitzing on one of our local raceways would be an entirely different sight. Heck, even one silently cruising on a highway would catch glances.
