That is quite a number. The price on the new Land Rover Defender 110 Octa P635 comes in at P24,590,000 to be exact.
Announced back in July 2024, this beautifully intimidating Defender packs in way more numbers to back up its steep asking price. But is it justifiable? Let’s break it down.

Looking under the hood, this Defender 110 Octa sports a mild hybrid system that is built around a beefy twin-turbo V8 engine. With the system operating at its peak, the 4x4 puts out 635hp and 750Nm of torque. Incredibly, this Defender can also sprint a 0-100 acceleration in exactly 4sec.
It might be hard to believe, but even with all that power, this new Defender actually produces about 20% less CO2 emissions than the previous Defender 110. But it still makes the same, if not more amount of noise thanks to its OCTA-tailored exhaust system.

Being an all-terrain vehicle, Land Rover promises a sportscar-like driving experience wherever you go. An all-new bumper and grille work in tandem with that exhaust system to maintain an optimal temperature throughout the car. When off-roading, an undershield made from Graphite protects the chassis from whatever debris may come.
Speaking of the chassis, it sits on a new 6D Dynamics suspension, reinforced with hydraulic dampers and adjustable springs. On each corner, 20-inch multi-spoke wheels are finished in a gorgeous but menacing ‘Satin Black’ color.

Behind those wheels are integrated power brakes with pads that are (once again) OCTA-tailored. The wheels are then shod in all-terrain tires that are measured at 838mm in diameter.
Putting that altogether, and the new Land Rover Defender 110 Octa should be able to wade in up to a meter of water.

It all sounds great, but does it sound P24 million great? Let’s take a look at the interior. The cabin and seats can be finished in four distinct colorways with optional graphics and a tough looking ‘Chopped Carbon Fiber’ finish. Land Rover has also incorporated a new acoustic technology into the seats that should make for a more immersive driving experience. We’ll have to put that to the test.
The steering wheel and paddle shifters have also been redesigned, and now integrated some translucent design elements.
And that’s all we know so far. The new Land Rover Defender 110 Octa P635 is scheduled to hit showrooms in February 2025, so that gives us plenty of time to consider spending all that money.
