So you’ve heard the news, right? Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) is hosting the world premiere of a new three-row SUV concept at the upcoming Philippine International Motor Show.
People have been saying that it could be the all-new Montero Sport (or the Pajero Sport in other markets), but we now have even more reasons to believe that it won’t be. In fact, we’ve heard something from the rumor mill that this could be a seven-seater XForce.

Here is the new look for the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Sounds wild, doesn’t it? Don’t worry, it’ll get wilder. Based on the photos—which we’ve included again here for good measure—it’s clear that the silhouette looks like that of an XForce. The headlights and taillights match, don’t they? An extended wheelbase doesn’t seem like such a bad idea, and unveiling it first in the Philippines also makes sense, considering how strong of a market this is for the Xpander.
Though it might not replace the Xpander, we think there’s a chance it could wear the Adventure badge. That was something our features editor Anton Andres was speculating about, after which he tried to do some digging. As it turns out, Mitsubishi filed the Adventure as a registered trademark way back July 2022, and it was approved thereafter in October of the same year.

What if the plan here is to introduce a seven-seater XForce Adventure variant? It may not be the quintessential Adventure successor that Mitsubishi fans were waiting for, but if there’s a chance for the nameplate to live on in the form of this, that’s not such a bad idea, right? But you tell us. These are all speculations at this point, anyway. Feel free to discuss in the comments what you think of this one.
So, a seven-seater XForce, huh? This should be interesting.
