We’ve been expecting this, and now it’s finally here: The updated Mitsubishi Triton has been launched in the Philippines.
For 2026, the midsize pickup sees mostly design changes. Across the lineup, the Triton gets blacked-out door handles, side mirrors, and rear bumpers. The GLX gets additional blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels.
The higher GLS trim, meanwhile, gets additional black claddings on the fender flares as well as black under garnish up front. These contrasting exterior trim could only previously be had with the top-of-the-line Athlete.

On the inside, the Triton GLS is now equipped with black leather seats. The truck sees no other changes to the cabin, however, so it still comes with the same digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.
Mechanically, there aren’t any changes as well. That means non-Athlete variants still get a 2.4-liter MIVEC turbodiesel that puts out 181hp and 430Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, and it can be configured with 2WD or 4WD layouts. The Triton Athlete, as bwith before, is powered by a 2.4-liter MIVEC twin-turbo diesel that pushes out 200hp and 470Nm. It only comes with a six-speed ’matic paired with Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II drivetrain.
As far as prices go, Mitsubishi actually bumped the Triton’s SRP across the lineup sometime last month. Take note as well that the GLS 4WD MT has been removed from the roster, and that a new GX 2WD AT trim was added towards the end of last year. For the updated price list, you can check it out below.
