The ‘SV’ in Range Rover SV comes from JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations division, so the P29.75 million price in the headline may vary widely depending on how much the well-heeled buyer is inclined to personalize his luxury SUV.
Now officially available in the Philippines, the Range Rover SV is an even more luxurious version of the ‘standard’ Range Rover. There are two curated exterior design themes—SV Intrepid and SV Serenity—as well as single- or two-tone interior color palettes to choose from, but there’s also a wide range of customization options to create a fully-bespoke final product.
The showcase piece at the local launch was a long-wheelbase Range Rover SV P460e with a gasoline plug-in hybrid powertrain. It pairs a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined output of 454hp (or 460ps, hence the name), and can run on electric power alone for around 120km based WLTP testing. A twin-turbo V8 option will also be available on the market.

The displayed unit came with the optional SV Signature Suite, a four-seat interior configuration for the long-wheelbase variant. Features include the electrically deployable club table and a console fridge that may be operated via the rear-seat touchscreen controller.
