A few months back, new industry player VinFast entered the market with an impressive lineup. Now, the carmaker is set to expand its stable even further with the launch of its newest crossover, the VF3.
We first heard of the VF3’s imminent arrival last month when VinFast made the announcement. It’s a fresh new model, having only made its global debut back in May. But now, VinFast Philippines has not only confirmed that launch but has also given us indicative pricing for the new crossover.

It’s “expected to be below P800,000.” VinFast didn’t expound further, but we’re guessing that’s the starting price for the VF3. That’s very competitive, especially since this crossover’s electric. It’s an EV that can go head-to-head with the likes of the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet thanks to its price tag—that’ll surely shake up the market and the segment.
No further details about local specs are available as of the moment, either, but we do know that the VF3 in its home market of Vietnam comes with a single electric motor driving the rear wheels. Said motor puts out 43hp and 110Nm of torque and isp powered by an 18.64kWh battery. The VinFast VF3 boasts a maximum range of up to 210km and charges from 10-70% in 36 minutes with a fast charger.
Excited for this upcoming launch? Stay tuned. We’ll bring you more as we have them.
