Visayas-based buyers of Mercedes-Benz vehicles will soon have direct access to the German brand as its exclusive distributor, CATS Motors, is now firming up plans to open a dealership in Cebu.
"Customers actually fly to Manila just to visit CATS from Bacolod and other provinces and also from the south," said CATS Motors assistant manager for public relations Grace Enriquez. "We have to make it more convenient for them. That’s why we’re expanding."
Enriquez said there is still no definite date for Mercedes-Benz opening in Cebu but here's what it’s supposed to look like:

Meanwhile, Enriquez also hinted at CATS Motors' plans to open another Mercedes-Benz showroom in the Alabang area.
If you're wondering if CATS Motors' expansion would actually include the arrival of Fiat in the country, here's what we can tell you: We've not received any denial from the car distributor.
"We're expanding to serve our growing number of customers--also with more dealerships around the country, and yes, with possibly more brands…possibly," Enriquez said.
The guessing game continues. Exciting times, don't you think?
