Chevron Philippines (Caltex) has teamed up with the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) to raise funds to save the endangered national treasure.
From December 13 to 24, Chevron will donate P20 of every P500 fuel bought at selected stations in Metro Manila to one of five charities of the motorist's choice. One of the four charity choices for Chevron customers is the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
The foundation is also looking for at least two volunteers per station who will "charm the motorists and convince them to give to PEF," group manager for development Tatit Quiblat said in an email blast. The minimum period for each volunteer is four hours a day.
"You can volunteer as many times for as many days in as many stations as you want," Quiblat said. Interested volunteers may send a message to tatit@philippineeagle.org or to +639177122895 to sign up.
