Last August, over 1,000 Ferrari cars were registered to take part in the Guinness World Records attempt for the "Largest Parade of Ferrari Cars," which will coincide with Ferrari Racing Days, a two-day event set for September 15 and 16 at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom.
Well, that time has come and leading the parade will be Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa behind the wheel of a 458 Spider.
"With this caravan, Ferrari has the ambitious goal to more than double the number of cars of the previous record when 490 cars came to the racetrack in Fuji for a parade in 2008," the Italian carmaker said in a statement.
The parade also serves as a fundraiser: For every car that takes part in the parade, Ferrari will donate £5 (roughly P335) to the automotive industry charity group BEN.
