What's a great party without an element of surprise? Not half as fun, perhaps, and Ford Philippines thought so, too. This is why the American carmaker decided to surprise members of Ford Club Philippines, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary today, with the introduction of new Fiesta variants.
That's right. While car launches are usually made in front of the media, Ford Philippines thought of a slightly different twist by letting their clients take a good look at the new Fiesta variants before they hit the showrooms.
The new variants are the 1.6-liter Ford Fiesta Sport Plus hatchback, the 1.4-liter Ford Fiesta Trend with automatic transmission in hatchback and sedan body types. There's also the Ford Fiesta Sport Plus Limited Edition, which comes with sporty racing stripes.
"The all-new Fiesta has become one of the clear leaders of the small-car segment, and we are excited to be expanding our Fiesta offering and giving customers even more choice with the lineup of this class-leading vehicle," said Vinay Piparsania, Ford Group Philippines vice president for marketing and sales.
The 1.6-liter Fiesta Sport Plus comes with a bolder and sportier look with its new front and rear bumpers and leather-trimmed seats.
The new variant of the 1.4-liter Fiesta Trend, with its automatic transmission, now offers convenience and added fuel economy to motorists.
"With the addition of the 1.6-liter Fiesta Sport Plus and 1.4-liter Fiesta Trend AT in both hatchback and sedan body styles, the all-new Fiesta will continue to connect with Filipino customers in so many new, exciting and different ways," Piparsania added.
The 1.6L Fiesta Sport Plus is available in four colors--Chili Orange, Aurora Blue, Black Mica and Arctic White--at P854,000. What you see in the photo above is that of the Fiesta Sport Plus Limited Edition's, which is available in Aurora Blue (with white stripes) and Arctic White (with blue stripes).
The 1.4L Fiesta Trend hatchback is sold at P739,000 and the sedan at P729,000.
