It's starting to look like an ugly Tuesday affair.
Oil companies implemented another round of fuel price hikes to cope with the rise of global crude prices, a television report said.
Gasoline and diesel prices are now 50 centavos higher, while the price of kerosene is up by 75 centavos.
Pilipinas Shell implemented the price hike at 12:01 a.m., while Petron Corp., Chevron (formerly Caltex), and Total Philippines adjusted prices at 6 a.m.
Small player Eastern Petroleum also adjusted its fuel prices by 50 centavos on gasoline, diesel and kerosene.
Oil companies have been adjusting oil prices on Tuesdays since May.
