Holy Week road safety: Lakbay Alalay from Petron

With 93 participating stations nationwide

Oil giant Petrol Corp. is offering its Lakbay Alalay program for motorists hitting the road from March 31 to April 1 and April 3 and 4.

Petron's Lakbay Alalay volunteers will be stationed at strategic areas for roadside assistance in the North Luzon Expressway, Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway, South Luzon Expressway, and the Coastal Road.

Petron has also tapped 93 stations to offer free car checkups nationwide. As much as 46 of the participating Petron stations are in Meto Manila, 16 in Northern Luzon, nine in Southern Luzon, 12 in the Visayas and ten in Mindanao. Petron is also offering traffic reports via radio to keep motorists informed about road situations.

"For the second straight year, Petron has gone beyond Luzon to ensure that travelers in the Visayas and Mindanao also have peace of mind," Petron said in a statement.

Petron's Lakbay Alalay program this Holy Week is conducted in partnership with Kia Motors and the Philippine National Red Cross.
