The wait would not be too long, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. president Hiroshi Shimizu told TopGear.com.ph.
Shimizu said, however, that after the launch of the latest Insight model in Japan, the car will first be brought to the European and American markets before it reaches Asia.
"It's not so long. Just wait for a moment," Shimizu said.
The Insight will start selling in the United States on March 24.
Honda has tagged the hybrid to be the "most affordable" green car in the US as the Insight LX carries a manufacturer's suggested retail price of US$19,800 (P955,251).
The Insight EX costs US$21,300 (P1.028 million), while the Insight EX with a satellite-linked navigation system is at US$23,100 (P1.114 million).
