If you're a fan of BBC Top Gear magazine, then you're most likely a fan of the UK TV series as well.
Now, the program--and its three hosts plus its iconic race car driver--have become so identified with the Top Gear brand, Hyundai has taken to spoofing the entire Top Gear package in a commercial for the Tucson or, as it's known in Europe, the ix35.
In Top Deer, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are played by a wildebeest, a hamster (of course) and a tortoise (ditto), respectively. The Stig, meanwhile, has been replaced by the Stag.
With the latest season of Top Gear coming out on June 27, do you expect the three hosts to say something about the commercial in one of its upcoming episodes?
