Honda Cars Philippines introduced the 2018 HR-V during a media launch at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire just the other night, and in true Honda fashion, the event was quite grand.
Big news for 2018 is the RS variant, which has a revamped grille, and LED headlamps. Prettty nifty. Other features found on the RS variant are the dark chrome-fiinished door handles and door trims; and a two-tone 17-inch alloy wheel design specifically made for it. And at the back, smoked LED taillamps. Check out our Launch Pad story for our initial impressions.
We are huge fans of the HR-V because of the seemingly endless amount of cargo that it can carry in its massive cabin. Really, when it comes to utility, the engineers over at Honda are masters at maximizing cabin space. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter i-VTEC R18 engine. The 140hp lump is shared with the current 1.8-liter model Civic.
