Mini Philippines recently gave us a tour of its "reimagined" showroom at its main location inside Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. The venue received a refresh that was in line with the look and layout of its facilities all over the world.
"It takes courage to be different from our competitors," said Mini Philippines head Willy Tee Ten. "This sets the brand apart, and it projects a true Mini journey from the moment the client is welcomed inside."
Opened in 2011, the facility now has a cleaner layout that can fit six vehicles on the display floor. This refurbished showroom also features digitized presentations so that sales executives can explain the cars better to clients. Three large screens on the floor, called Mini Digital Communication Frames, show material and information about the brand.
Salespeople also have Mini content loaded on tablets to address specific queries.
"We’re confident that visitors will appreciate the positive changes we’ve made," said Mini Philippines general manager Lito Jose.
One obvious addition is the Mini Hub, a relaxing lounge with a long table, high chairs, a sofa and more digital screens. This was added as a spot for more discussion between sales staff and customers. Jose said all the furniture and pieces in the renovated showroom had been ordered through the UK home office, and built to high specifications.
While we never found the former Mini dealership dull or outdated in terms of design, we can say we like what they’ve done with the place. This should make browsing Mini models more fun.
