It’s official: The 42nd Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) is happening from March 24 to April 1. Similar to last year’s festivities, the event will be held at a large venue and strict safety protocols will be observed.
According to the official event organizer Grand Prix International (GPI), the 2021 BIMS will be held in the same venue as last year: the Challenger Hall, Impact Maung Thong Thani. The exhibition space spans over 170,000sqm, so event-goers won’t have a hard time with physical distancing.
A total of 34 car and motorcycle companies will be participating in BIMS this year, including Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Kia, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, Yamaha, KTM, and Harley-Davidson. The list goes on.
To maintain the safety of all visitors, 2021 BIMS vice chairman Jaturont Komolmis said that the spaces between booths as well as the main walkway has been expanded so as to reduce congestion at the venue.
“On this auspicious occasion, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the government, car companies, motorcycle companies and everyone for the support you have given to Bangkok International Motor Show, and I am looking forward to the collaboration between government and private sectors in organizing such a great event as always,” said Grand Prix International CEO Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow.
Again, the 2021 BIMS will be held from March 24 to April 4, 2021. The doors will be open from 12nn to 10pm on weekdays and from 11am to 10pm on weekends and holidays. Tickets cost 100 Thai Baht each, and each visitor will have a chance to win prizes such as a brand-new Ford Everest or Ranger. To those who live near the area: Will you be dropping by?
