BYD Cars Philippines and local distributor ACMobility continue the brand’s regional expansion in the Philippines with a new showroom in the Bicol region. Located in the municipality of Pili, BYD Camarines Sur makes buying, driving, and maintaining a BYD vehicle much easier for drivers in the southernmost part of Luzon.
The Chinese carmaker is on a mission to open at least 23 more showrooms in the near future, to make new-energy vehicle ownership more accessible to drivers all around the country.

In exact numbers, the new showroom occupies an area of 1,658sqm. That space is divided between a wide showroom floor, a large service area, and a public charging station with both AC and DC chargers.

The showroom will hold the latest from BYD with a display capacity of seven vehicles, but with how compact the BYD Dolphin and Seagull are, we’re sure the entire eight-vehicle lineup will fit just fine.
In the back, the service area boasts six bays to ensure that vehicles are serviced effectively and efficiently. Along the front of the facility, AC and DC charging stations have been set up for public use—giving EV and plug-in hybrid drivers in the area another way to recharge their cars, regardless of brand.

BYD and ACMobility plan to leave this charging station open 24/7, for anyone to use. Recently, ACMobility announced its fixed rates for the use of its EV chargers. These will kick in on December 12.
While BYD aims to open 23 more dealers, ACMobility is targeting to have a total of 100 charging locations by the end of 2024.
